Hello
I’m Mariya Kadar, a University of Toronto and Sheridan College–educated communications and marketing professional. I thrive on planning, organizing, and creating work that is memorable and impactful.
My Story
My career has spanned administration, HR operations, and marketing environments, providing me with a diverse range of business understanding, communication skills, and practical experience in coordinating multi-step projects. Over the years, I found my natural lane in work that combines strategy and creativity: content planning, writing, campaign support, storytelling, and clean visual execution.
While I am a creator and strategist at heart, I also love numbers. I enjoy analyzing social media and website statistics, uncovering patterns, and testing content improvements to drive engagement.
At Visit Oakville, I worked across campaigns, reporting, social and digital content, website updates, SEO improvements, design, and stakeholder coordination.
I’m a lifelong learner and someone who enjoys understanding systems, patterns, and how things fit together. I pick up tools quickly, adapt fast, and like seeing projects move from idea to finished piece.
I hold a Bachelor of Commerce, a Master’s in Industrial Relations and Human Resources from the University of Toronto, and a Public Relations & Corporate Communications certificate from Sheridan College — education that shapes my thinking and helps me bring both structure and creativity to my work.

Outside of work, I’m usually hiking or traveling with my family, photographing or knitting something cozy.
If you’d like to connect, collaborate, or explore opportunities, I’d love to hear from you.
